Bioregulator Peptides

We stock ten bioregulator peptides, the short Khavinson peptides developed in St. Petersburg. Each is two to four amino acids long, tied to one organ or tissue, and supplied as a 20mg lyophilized vial (Thymalin is 10mg).

What are bioregulator peptides?

Bioregulators are very short peptides, sometimes just two amino acids. Vladimir Khavinson and his colleagues at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology developed them from the 1970s on, first as extracts from animal tissue and later as defined synthetic sequences.

The idea behind them is different from most peptides. Instead of binding a receptor on the cell surface, these tiny molecules are thought to enter cells and interact with DNA and gene regulation. Each one is linked to a tissue: Cardiogen to the heart, Pinealon to the brain, Cartalax to cartilage, and so on.

How to choose bioregulator peptides

Pick by tissue. If your work is on blood vessels, Vesugen is the obvious start. For immune research there’s Vilon, Crystagen and Thymalin. Pinealon is the one most often used in brain and nerve models, and it’s also in our REM spray.

Because they’re so short, bioregulators are cheap to make and very stable as powders. That makes it practical to run several in parallel and compare them.

Formats and prices at a glance

This range has 10 products: ten bioregulator vials. Prices run from $59.99 to $69.99. Every product page lists the exact amount, the format and the SKU, so you can compare like for like before you order.

Quality, testing and storage

Most of our vials carry a QR code on the label that opens the certificate of analysis for that exact batch. Check the lot number on the COA against the vial before you open it, and keep a copy with your notes.

Store lyophilized vials in the fridge, or the freezer for long periods, and let them reach room temperature before opening. Sprays go in the fridge once opened. Capsules and lotions keep on a cool, dry shelf.

How bioregulators differ from other peptides

Most research peptides are 5 to 40 amino acids long and act on a receptor at the cell surface. Bioregulators are two to four amino acids long, and the theory is that they work inside the cell, close to the DNA. That’s a different mechanism, and it’s still debated, which is part of what makes them interesting to study.

Bioregulator peptides FAQ

Who developed bioregulator peptides?

Vladimir Khavinson’s group at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology.

How much is in each vial?

20mg for the single-sequence peptides and 10mg for Thymalin.

Are they extracts?

No, except Thymalin. The rest are synthetic peptides with defined sequences.

Are bioregulator peptides for human use?

No. They’re sold for laboratory research only.
