CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin are the most common pairing in growth hormone research. One works on the GHRH receptor, the other on the ghrelin receptor, and both lead to growth hormone release. LA Peptides sells them together as a 5mg/5mg blend, and Ipamorelin on its own. Here’s what each one does and how to choose.

What are CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin?

CJC-1295 without DAC, also called Modified GRF(1-29), is the first 29 amino acids of GHRH with four swaps that protect it from fast enzyme breakdown. Without the DAC add-on it lasts around 30 minutes, which gives a short pulse of growth hormone, close to the natural pattern.

Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide that binds the ghrelin receptor, GHSR1a. Novo Nordisk published the first full description in 1998. In the original animal studies it raised growth hormone with little change in cortisol, prolactin or ACTH, which makes it one of the cleaner tools in this area. See this PubMed search for the literature.

Why CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin are paired

Growth hormone release is driven from two directions. GHRH tells the pituitary to release it, and ghrelin acting on GHS-R gives a second push. Because the two pathways add together, using CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin side by side produces a bigger pulse in studies than either one alone. That’s the reasoning behind putting both in one vial.

Blend or separate vials?

The blend is the simple choice when your protocol already calls for equal amounts of CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin. One reconstitution, one label and a ratio that can’t drift. Separate vials are better for dose-ratio work or when you need each compound as its own control.

What to check before you order

Storing and mixing CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin

Store the sealed vial in the fridge. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water, added slowly down the side, and swirl gently. With 2ml of water, the blend gives 2.5mg per ml of each peptide. Our reconstitution guide covers the rest.

Where to buy CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin

Both the blend and single Ipamorelin are sold directly at LA Peptides. The blend is also part of the Hidden Hills bundle, which adds Wolverine capsules, KPV, Cartalax, ARA 290 and BAC water at about 15% off.
