Description

LA Peptides GHK-Cu capsules come 60 to a bottle with 2.5mg of GHK-Cu in each one. It’s the simplest format we sell, built for oral and formulation research.

What’s in GHK-Cu capsules?

GHK-Cu is the copper complex of the tripeptide glycyl-histidyl-lysine. It occurs naturally in human plasma, drops with age, and has been studied since 1973, mostly for skin and wound models. It’s one of the most researched peptides in cosmetic science.

The copper is the point. GHK binds copper tightly and is thought to act as a carrier, delivering it to cells in a form they can use. The complex is blue, and the powder in the vial usually is too.

GHK-Cu capsules hold 2.5mg per capsule. Most GHK-Cu research is topical or injectable, so an oral form is useful for comparison studies on how the copper peptide behaves when it’s swallowed.

Who the capsule format is for

If your work looks at oral delivery or formulation, capsules are the obvious place to start. They’re pre-measured and stable, and they skip the reconstitution step completely.

The big question with any oral peptide is how much survives digestion. That’s a research question in its own right, and it’s one reason capsule versions get studied next to injectable ones.

Other formats of the same compound: GHK-Cu 100mg (lyophilized vial), GLOW Peptide Blend 70mg (50mg/10mg/10mg in one vial), KLOW Peptide Blend 80mg (80mg in one vial).

Research background

Loren Pickart first described GHK in 1973, after noticing that plasma from young people made old liver tissue behave younger in culture. Most later work has looked at skin: collagen production, wound models and gene expression in cell cultures. It’s also one of the most used peptides in cosmetic formulas.

How to store GHK-Cu capsules

Room temperature is fine as long as it’s dry. Keep the cap tight and the bottle out of direct light.

Handle the capsules with dry gloves, and keep the bottle away from children and pets.

Keeping track of your capsules

Sixty capsules is a fixed count, which makes record keeping easy. Note the date you opened the GHK-Cu capsules and keep a running count, and you’ll always know how many are left and when to reorder.

If you open capsules to work with the powder inside, remember that the labeled amount applies to a whole capsule. Weigh the contents if your method needs a precise figure.

Oral peptide research in brief

Taking peptides by mouth is hard because the stomach and gut are built to break proteins down. Researchers work around that with enzyme-resistant sequences, coatings, absorption enhancers and very small molecules. Comparing a capsule with an injectable form of the same compound is one of the simplest ways to see how much of that challenge a given compound faces.
