Description

The GLOW peptide blend from LA Peptides is a research blend supplied as lyophilized powder in a sealed vial. GLOW combines three peptides in one vial: 50mg of GHK-Cu, 10mg of BPC-157 and 10mg of TB-500, for 70mg in total. Each batch has its own certificate of analysis, linked by the QR code on the label.

What is in the GLOW peptide blend?

The GHK-Cu amount is five times the others, which tells you where the blend’s focus is: skin and connective tissue models, with BPC-157 and TB-500 in support.

GHK-Cu is the copper complex of the tripeptide glycyl-histidyl-lysine. It occurs naturally in human plasma, drops with age, and has been studied since 1973, mostly for skin and wound models. It’s one of the most researched peptides in cosmetic science.

BPC-157 is a 15-amino-acid peptide based on a fragment of a protein found in human gastric juice. Most of what’s published on it comes from rodent studies at the University of Zagreb, looking at tendon, muscle and gut tissue. It’s unusually stable for a peptide, which is why it’s one of the few that gets formulated as a spray or capsule at all.

TB500 is a synthetic fragment of thymosin beta-4, a protein that binds actin and shows up wherever cells are moving or rebuilding. It’s been studied in wound and heart tissue models, mostly in animals, and it’s very often paired with BPC-157 in study designs.

Why use a blend instead of single vials?

A blend saves time and cuts down on handling. You reconstitute one vial instead of several, there’s one set of labels to track, and the ratio between the peptides is fixed from the start, so it can’t drift between preparations.

The trade-off is flexibility. If your study needs to change the ratio, or test each compound on its own, single vials are the better choice. That’s why we sell the parts separately too: GHK-Cu 100mg, BPC-157 10mg, TB500 10mg.

GLOW peptide blend research background

Loren Pickart first described GHK in 1973, after noticing that plasma from young people made old liver tissue behave younger in culture. Most later work has looked at skin: collagen production, wound models and gene expression in cell cultures. It’s also one of the most used peptides in cosmetic formulas.

Most of the published work comes from Predrag Sikiric’s group at the University of Zagreb, which has been publishing on it since the early 1990s. Their studies are mostly in rats and mice and look at tendon, ligament, muscle and gut tissue models. Other labs have since looked at its effect on blood vessel growth and on the nitric oxide system.

Checking the batch COA

Every batch gets its own certificate of analysis, and the QR code on the GLOW peptide blend label takes you straight to it. Look for the lot number, the test date and the purity figure. If the lot on the paperwork doesn’t match the lot on the vial, set the vial aside until it’s sorted out.

File the COA with the rest of your study notes. If results ever shift between batches, it’s the first thing you’ll want to check.

How to store and reconstitute the GLOW peptide blend

Keep the GLOW peptide blend vial sealed and refrigerated, or frozen for long-term storage. Let it reach room temperature before opening.

Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water, added slowly against the glass, then swirl gently until it’s clear. Keep the solution refrigerated. Every draw contains all the peptides in the blend, in the fixed ratio, so label the vial with the concentration of each one.
