Description
LAP-1 10mg ships as a sealed vial holding 10mg of lyophilized powder. Every batch has its own certificate of analysis, and you can pull it up by scanning the QR code on the side of the label. It’s sold for laboratory research only.
What is LAP-1 (S)?
LAP-1 (S) is a synthetic peptide analogue that acts on a single receptor, the GLP-1 receptor. GLP-1 is an incretin, a gut hormone released after eating that signals the pancreas and the brain.
Natural GLP-1 breaks down within minutes. Analogues like this one carry changes to the sequence and a fatty side chain that lets them bind albumin, so they last far longer.

Research background
GLP-1 receptor agonists are one of the most studied peptide classes of the last 20 years, with a large body of clinical research on blood sugar and body weight.
LAP-1 (S) is supplied for laboratory research on that receptor. It isn’t a drug and isn’t approved for use in people.

Batch testing and the COA
The QR code isn’t decoration. It links to the certificate of analysis for the exact batch in your hand, so you aren’t relying on a generic sheet. Check the lot number, the date and the purity result for LAP-1 10mg before you open it.
Keep a copy of the COA with your lab notes. It makes it much easier to compare results between batches later on.
Which LAP-1 (S) size is right for you?
We sell LAP-1 (S) in two sizes. The larger vial costs less per milligram, and the smaller one makes sense if you only need a little.
- LAP-1 (S) 5mg: $64.99, about $13 per mg
- LAP-1 (S) 10mg: $89.99, about $9 per mg (this page)
Not sure? The LAP-1 10mg vial is the better value if you go through a lot. You can also look at LAP-1 (S) 5mg.
LAP-1 10mg reconstitution and concentration
How much liquid you add decides the concentration. For a LAP-1 10mg vial:
- 1ml of bacteriostatic water gives 10mg/ml
- 2ml of bacteriostatic water gives 5mg/ml
- 3ml of bacteriostatic water gives about 3.33mg/ml
Less liquid gives a stronger solution, more liquid gives a weaker one. Write down what you used, right on the vial, so nobody has to guess later.
Storage and reconstitution
Store the LAP-1 10mg vial cold and dark. A fridge is fine for weeks, and a freezer is better for months. Give it a few minutes at room temperature before opening.
Most labs reconstitute it with bacteriostatic water. Let the water run down the side of the vial instead of straight onto the powder, then swirl until it’s clear. Keep the solution in the fridge afterward. A peptide case helps if vials travel between benches.
