Description
Glutathione 600mg from LA Peptides comes as 600mg of lyophilized powder in a sealed glass vial, made for laboratory research. The compound and amount are printed clearly on the label.
What is Glutathione?
Glutathione is a tripeptide made from glutamate, cysteine and glycine, with an unusual bond: the glutamate links through its side chain (a gamma bond) instead of the usual backbone. That bond makes it hard for most enzymes to break down.
It’s the main antioxidant inside cells. The reduced form, GSH, gives up electrons to neutralize reactive oxygen species and turns into the oxidized form, GSSG. The ratio of the two is one of the standard ways labs measure oxidative stress. This vial is reduced glutathione (GSH).

Research so far
Glutathione was first described in 1888 and has been studied for well over a century. It turns up in research on liver function, detoxification, the immune system and aging, and it’s a common reagent in biochemistry labs.
There’s a huge literature on it, much of it about how cells make and recycle it.

Which Glutathione size is right for you?
We sell Glutathione in two sizes. The larger vial costs less per milligram, and the smaller one makes sense if you only need a little.
- Glutathione 600mg: $59.99, about $0.10 per mg (this page)
- Glutathione 1500mg: $119.99, about $0.08 per mg

Working out the concentration
How much liquid you add decides the concentration. For a Glutathione 600mg vial:
- 5ml of bacteriostatic water gives 120mg/ml
- 10ml of bacteriostatic water gives 60mg/ml
Pick a volume that makes your measurements easy, then write the concentration and the date on the vial. It’s a small step that saves confusion a week later.
How to reconstitute and store it
Keep the sealed Glutathione 600mg vial in the fridge, or in the freezer if you won’t get to it for a few months. Before you open it, let it come to room temperature so moisture doesn’t condense inside.
Most labs reconstitute it with bacteriostatic water. Run the liquid slowly down the inside wall of the vial and swirl gently. Don’t shake it. Once mixed, keep it refrigerated and use it within a few weeks. A peptide case helps if vials travel between benches.
